She has more than 25 years’ experience in both public and private industry. While in public accounting she specialized in serving publicly and privately held organizations in the areas of retail, professional services, real estate management, manufacturing, construction and not-for-profit organizations. In the private sector she served as CFO for a wholesale distributor of auto parts with distribution centers throughout upstate New York.

She has solid and progressive experience in directing all facets of accounting and financial functions as well as operations within an organization. Kim is highly skilled in effectively collaborating with all members of the organization as well as outside sources such as banks, vendors, insurance providers, accountants and attorneys to achieve business and financial objectives.

She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Syracuse University.

Heather Goudy serves as SAOS’s Outsource Controller and Accounting Manager as well as a Intacct Accounting Specialist. As our resident Intacct champion, she is well-versed in implementing and training new clients, with a niche in designing multi-entity environments utilizing both Intacct and Bill.com. Heather is also adept at implementing Intacct report writer and creating meaningful dashboards for the CEO, CFO, accounting staff, department heads, etc. Additionally, Heather is responsible for cash management, generating monthly/yearly work papers and financial reports for banking and tax compliance as well as management of SAOS and client accounting staff.

Heather is a valued member of the SAOS team and plays an integral part in providing superior service to our clients. Her passion is taking on new and challenging projects! ​ She brings more than 5 years of experience prior to joining SAOS in 2013. She spent four years as an accountant for a local wholesale distributor of automotive parts. Heather was responsible for reconciliation of books and records for multiple entities and generation of monthly financial statements for banking and tax compliance. ​

Mary plays an integral role in providing superior service to our clients. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the Firm.

Jess brings more than 5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience to SAOS. Prior to joining SAOS in 2015, she spent two and a half years working as an assistant accountant for a technology VAR and two and a half years in the controller capacity for a local HVAC company. Jess was responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, sales tax filings, reconciliation of books and records for multiple entities and the generation of monthly financial statements for banking and tax compliance.

Jess earned her bachelor’s degree in business from LeMoyne College and a Masters in Accounting from SUNY IT.

Carly Honea serves as an SAOS outsource Bookkeeper for clients. She is responsible for daily accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. She has a passion for assisting entrepreneurs make their dreams a reality.

Prior to joining SAOS in 2017, she spent several years as a bookkeeper responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax filings, inventory management and legal compliance.

Carly earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brenau University.
